Shini thanks NBC

I never heard of this till today. NBC ran this brief film about Canada prior to the Olympic start I am told. So Now it is posted. Over the years I have heard so much crap come out of Americans mouths over Canada. Uneducated crap. They have flaunted their military, pushed their protectionism, made fun of us, and have through economic clout, dealt with us unfairly in trade situations. Still through it all, we remain friends with them. I guess the biggest complaint I have ever heard up here over America is that the majority don't even know who we are. We are too far under their radar to care. That is sad. This video is a great over view of us, that though hardly complete, and a couple of tiny errors, the message is still very kind. It says we are friends. I hope one day that this will be true for all of us and not just a few. That America as a whole can come to respect us and viesa versa.

shini, you've been hanging out with the wrong demographic of americans...in the northeast and around the great lakes, most americans have an affinity for canadians; detroit and windsor are sister cities, and same with buffalo and niagra falls...i suspect the same is true in the pacific northwest...here we recognize toronto as a major north american city, and eastern canadian radio signals reach several hundred miles into the US...
